Event History

Kicking off in 1977, the Boddington Lions Rodeo has become the main event on the calendar for the town of Boddington.

The Rodeo grounds on which the event is held was built by hand by many of the current Lions Club members and townspeople of Boddington. The Boddington Lions Rodeo, part of the ABCRA National circuit, is a full championship Rodeo, and the largest one day Rodeo in Australia – with prize money in excess of $40,000.

2024 saw the biggest ever turnout to the Rodeo, with overflow camping booking out in record time. Make sure you follow our socials for updates throughout the year regarding tickets, camping, entertainment and more.
